Davido calls on Nigerian entertainers to speak up about rising insecurity and government critique
Dr.Solomon Ojeagbase, the Managing Director of Complete Communications Limited, has been appointed as a United Nations Representative to the AWWG under the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
He announced the development himself through a post on his official Facebook page, where he expressed joy and gratitude over the appointment, describing it as both a privilege and a responsibility.
In his statement, Ojeagbase said he is looking forward to contributing to global discussions, policy advocacy, and multi-stakeholder collaboration aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
He specifically highlighted interests in sustainable development, inclusive growth, and international cooperation as key areas he hopes to contribute to in his new role.
He also expressed appreciation for the trust placed in him and emphasised his readiness to work with global leaders, policymakers, civil society organisations, and other representatives in advancing initiatives that can create long-term and measurable impact.According to him, the appointment represents an opportunity to further support efforts aimed at building a more equitable and sustainable world.Ojeagbase is not new to professional recognition.
He holds an honorary Doctor of Philosophy degree in Public Administration from Geofidel Institute of Leadership and Management and Stratford University London.He is also a graduate of Covenant University, where he studied International Relations, and he holds an MBA from Lagos Business School.
Additionally, he has participated in executive programmes such as a MiniMBA at the London School of Business and Finance and an Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Over the years, he has built a strong profile in digital media and sports communication in Africa, particularly through Complete Communications Limited, publishers of Complete Sports.
He currently serves as Executive Director overseeing the online division and was previously nominated for professional recognition at The Future Awards Africa for his contributions to digital sports communities.
