In a swift and coordinated emergency response, Pakistan Navy collaborated with Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) to rescue all 20 Pakistani crew members from a cargo dhow experiencing severe flooding east of Ormara.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that PNS HUNAIN and aerial assets were diverted to undertake the rescue operation after receiving a distress call at the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre.All crew members were safely recovered due to the professionalism of rescuers, with medical attention provided to those rescued.

The military’s media wing highlighted this operation as a testament to Pakistan Navy's and PMSA's commitment to maritime safety and their readiness for emergency responses around the clock.
