A recent Social Weather Survey (SWS) conducted from June 20 to 29, 2026, revealed that 70% of Filipinos believe Vice President Sara Duterte must address the impeachment charges filed against her.This net agreement score of +52 marks an increase from March 2026 (+47) and September 2025 (+56).The survey also noted that 74% of adult Filipinos were aware of the impeachment case against Duterte, with awareness rising with education levels.Regional breakdowns showed the highest support in the Visayas at +58 and Mindanao at +42.The impeachment allegations include misuse of funds, dereliction of duty, threats against the President, and unexplained wealth.Public satisfaction with Duterte was higher among those who disagreed she should address the charges, with a net rating of +61.The survey highlights growing public engagement with the impeachment case and its implications for political accountability.
