Tanzania VP Calls for Professionalism and Integrity Among Personal Secretaries

Tanzania’s Vice-President Emmanuel Nchimbi has urged personal secretaries across the country to maintain high professionalism and discipline, highlighting their role as the first point of contact in both government and private offices.Speaking at the 13th Tanzania Personal Secretaries Association (TAPSEA) conference in Arusha, Dr.

Nchimbi told over 5,000 participants that personal secretaries are the face of their institutions, and their conduct can either build or break confidence among visitors and colleagues.He emphasized the importance of confidentiality and warned strongly against leaking sensitive information.

The VP also criticized employers who do not sponsor their secretaries to attend professional conferences, reminding ministers to ensure employees’ rights to professional development are upheld.
