The repair of the collapsed portion of the Davao-Bukidnon Road in Davao City will commence today, as announced by Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon.President Ferdinand Marcos prioritized the repairs to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of agricultural products in the region.

Dizon emphasized that the current measures are a temporary fix, with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) actively seeking a long-term solution.The collapse occurred on July 17, prompting an inspection by Dizon in Barangay Marilog Proper.He highlighted the need for a proper design to address the danger in the area.The temporary repair aims to restore basic connectivity while officials work on a sustainable solution.This incident underscores the importance of infrastructure maintenance in regions prone to natural disasters or heavy usage.
