President Bola Tinubu has made significant appointments across Nigerian federal agencies, including naming former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose as Chairman of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA).This move comes amid ongoing leadership changes in critical sectors like energy, finance, and public administration.Alongside Fayose, 25 other Nigerians received roles in 10 key agencies, with appointments taking immediate effect.

Major General Junaid Bindawa was named head of the National Salary and Wages Commission, while several new commissioners were added to various boards.

The Presidency highlighted that these changes affect institutions such as the NPC, NBET, NCAM, Federal Housing Authority, and Fiscal Responsibility Commission.Fayose, known for his political influence, will oversee rural electrification initiatives alongside other board members.

Other notable appointments include Abuh Mohammed as Director-General of the National Population Commission and Shuni Dahiru as Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Mass Literacy.
