The Orioles had a brief threat in the eighth inning with men on first and second, but Pete Alonso was unexpectedly picked off first base after a comebacker.Toronto starter Patrick Corbin allowed one run over five-plus innings, and Chris Bassitt gave up one run over six innings for Baltimore.The Blue Jays now boast 10 wins in their last 14 games, while the Orioles have lost twice in seven games.Baltimore will send Trevor Rogers to the mound on Friday, with Toronto yet to announce a starter.
