A 75-year-old man from Tripura's Gomati district was arrested by police on Saturday for allegedly sexually harassing his daughter-in-law over an extended period.The case was registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on Friday following a complaint from the victim's mother.

Police stated that the complainant alleged her daughter faced both physical torture and sexual harassment from her father-in-law, while the rest of the family remained complicit.
