Two individuals were arrested for hurling a Molotov cocktail at a Tasmac outlet in Krishnagiri district on Sunday evening.The suspects, identified as Sathiyamoorthy (27) and Thirumal alias Nitish Kumar (25), initially demanded a liquor bottle at a discounted rate from the outlet staff, leading to a verbal altercation.

Later, under the influence of alcohol, they returned to the outlet and launched the Molotov attack, causing injuries to temporary staff member Prakash (58).The incident resulted in 30% burns for Prakash, who was hospitalized at Krishnagiri Government Medical College Hospital.The Krishnagiri Taluk police registered a case and are investigating further.The attack highlights rising incidents of violence against commercial establishments, with the suspects facing legal consequences for their actions.Authorities are emphasizing the need for security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
