The University of Nairobi has launched an inter-institution transfer portal for students placed by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) during the 2026/2027 academic cycle.Students who were placed at other institutions can apply to transfer to UoN between 9th July and 9th August 2026.The portal is managed through KUCCPS, which coordinates placements across public universities and colleges in Kenya.Applicants can submit their applications via the KUCCPS portal at students.kuccps.net or contact the UoN Admissions Office directly through email, phone, or in-person visits.

The move comes after the release of KUCCPS placement results, allowing students to reassess their allocated institutions against their academic goals.

The university emphasized that the transfer window provides a one-month period for applications, ensuring students have sufficient time to complete the process.This initiative aims to enhance student satisfaction by offering flexibility in institutional placement.
