Additional tariffs, including 25% on Brazilian goods and 50% on Canadian products, are also in play, alongside trade investigations into 16 countries for excess industrial capacity.The use of Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930 is seen as a strategy to pressure Canada in USMCA negotiations, though tensions remain high.
