According to the Wall Street Journal, more than a dozen Republican senators, including Senator Lindsey Graham, have privately urged administration aides to abandon the fund due to political and legal concerns.While Trump has not formally agreed to dissolve the fund, he acknowledges that it has created political complications for the GOP.
