Security forces in Balochistan have killed 71 terrorists during Operation Shaban, according to state-run Radio Pakistan.The operation, launched after a July 7 attack that killed 27 police personnel, has seen 109 'khawarij terrorists' eliminated since July 5.Recovered weapons include M4 rifles, submachine guns, and rocket launchers.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised security forces for protecting national security, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized a unified civil-military decision to end terrorism.The operation continues with air and ground operations targeting the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).Recent updates mention 14 more terrorists killed, with authorities vowing to eliminate all terrorists in the region.The attack on the police checkpost also resulted in the deaths of 18 abducted officers, whose bodies were later found in the Zarghoon Gar area.The government has reiterated support for security forces and pledged to continue operations until the last terrorist is eliminated.
