Acer has introduced the Swift Spin 14 AI, a new compact convertible laptop designed for versatility, performance, and portability.The device features a 14-inch 16:10 IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals than typical productivity laptops.
The display reaches 300 nits of brightness, supports full sRGB color coverage, and has a contrast ratio of 1200:1, making it suitable for everyday creative work and media consumption.The convertible design includes a 360-degree hinge, allowing the laptop to be used in multiple modes, including tablet mode.It supports the Acer Active Stylus 420, which uses Wacom AES 2.0 technology with 4,096 pressure levels and tilt recognition, targeting note-taking and digital drawing use cases.The chassis is made of aluminum, measuring 16.5 mm thick and weighing 1.34 kg, emphasizing portability.Inside, the Swift Spin 14 AI can be configured with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Plus or Snapdragon X2 Elite processor.It supports up to 16 GB of RAM and up to a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.Acer has limited higher memory and storage configurations, likely due to ongoing memory supply constraints.Connectivity is extensive, including two USB-C ports with USB4 support, two USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0.The device is powered by a 65 Wh battery, which Acer claims can deliver up to 16.5 hours of web browsing.Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
