Retired Col.AbdulWahab Ademola Lawal, chairman of the Kwara State APC Reconciliation Committee, has called on party members to embrace dialogue and reconciliation after disagreements from primary elections.

The committee, formed to address internal conflicts ahead of the 2027 elections, emphasized that all parties involved remain loyal to the APC and described the disputes as a family affair.Lawal urged members to avoid inflammatory statements and focus on finding lasting solutions.

The committee plans to hold consultative meetings across senatorial districts, engage stakeholders, and collaborate with groups working on resolving the crisis.

Lawal also thanked individuals and groups already contributing to reconciliation efforts, stating the committee aims to strengthen, not replace, these initiatives.He appealed to the media to report objectively and stressed the importance of unity to maintain the APC's winning streak in Kwara State.
