Casio is set to release a special Pokémon-themed G-Shock watch as part of the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations.The collaboration uses the well-known G-Shock GA-110 model as its base and incorporates design elements inspired by the original Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue games.The watch features a slightly translucent white body with red, green, and blue accents across its buttons, text, and hands.

Its face includes the Pokémon logo along with themed details such as a Poké Ball-style stopwatch and a stylized Pikachu integrated into the watch’s design.The official release date for the Pokémon x G-Shock watch is scheduled for July 17, 2026.However, purchasing the watch will not follow a standard retail model.Instead, buyers must enter a lottery through Casio’s online store.To participate, users need to create a Casio account, and the entry period will run from July 1 until the release date.Selected participants will then be given the opportunity to purchase the watch.

This system is likely intended to reduce scalping and ensure fair distribution, with expectations that purchases may be limited to one unit per customer.In terms of pricing, the watch is listed at approximately £220 in the UK, which is higher than the Japanese price of ¥33,000 (around £150).

Beyond its design, the watch retains the standard features of the GA-110 series, including world time functionality, alarms, a backlight, and stopwatch capabilities.

While availability details remain limited in some regions, demand is expected to be high due to the popularity of both Pokémon and Casio’s G-Shock brand.
