Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh has invited the protesters demonstrating against the NEET paper leak issue for discussions with the Central government at the residence or office of Union Health Minister JP Nadda.

According to Singh, the government had made four formal proposals to the student representatives within the previous 24 hours in an effort to begin constructive dialogue after an earlier round of discussions failed to produce any outcome.

He appealed to the students to participate in talks at a time and for a duration convenient to them, stating that the government was prepared to discuss not only the immediate concerns surrounding the agitation but also all related issues with an open mind.Singh said he would personally be present during the meeting alongside JP Nadda.The invitation comes amid continuing protests over alleged irregularities linked to the NEET examination.

Earlier on the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the government would establish fast-track courts to ensure speedy trials and stringent punishment for those found guilty in paper leak cases.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said that protecting the welfare and future of students was of the highest importance and directed the concerned authorities to take all necessary measures.He asserted that individuals responsible for harming the interests of young people would face strict action.

The government's latest outreach signals an attempt to resolve the ongoing standoff through dialogue while simultaneously strengthening legal action against those involved in examination-related malpractices.
