CFL Announces Six-Year Broadcast Partnership with Bell Media, DAZN, and YouTube

The Canadian Football League (CFL) has announced a landmark six-year broadcast agreement starting in 2027 with Bell Media, DAZN, and YouTube, marking the league’s largest media valuation to date.

Bell Media will remain the majority broadcaster, airing 60 regular-season games, six playoff contests, and the Grey Cup each year across TSN, CTV, Crave, and RDS for French coverage.

DAZN joins as a new Canadian and international partner, offering Saturday Night Football weekly and global coverage of all games outside of Canada and the U.S.

YouTube will serve as a Premiere Platform partner, streaming live pre-season games not covered by the other networks and providing enhanced behind-the-scenes content.

The combined deal is estimated at approximately $500 million, significantly more than the previous TSN agreement, which averaged $50 million annually.

CFL Commissioner Stewart Johnston emphasised that the partnership aims to broaden the league’s reach, engage new audiences through diverse content formats, and leverage the strengths of all three partners to deliver innovative fan experiences.

This deal also includes expanded storytelling opportunities and the integration of creators and digital content, reflecting the CFL’s strategy to modernize its presentation and grow its global footprint.
