Charli XCX has released her introspective single 'Camera', accompanied by a music video directed by longtime collaborator Aidan Zamiri and featuring French actor Vincent Cassel.

The track, part of her upcoming album 'Music, Fashion, Film' set for release on July 24, marks a departure from her previous club-oriented sound, embracing a more personal and subdued electronic pop style.

Lyrically, Charli explores her uncertainties about transitioning into acting, questioning her career path with lines such as 'It makes me question what I’m doing / Do I wanna make music / Am I being fucking stupid?' The video depicts Cassel as an actor struggling on a film set, with Charli directing from behind a massive camera.

This follows her earlier singles like 'Rock Music' and 'Wink Wink', and precedes her live debut at a Brooklyn pop-up show where she performed unreleased tracks alongside artists like Kim Petras and Clairo.The album's black-and-white artwork, also directed by Zamiri, features cultural icons such as John Cale and Martin Scorsese.Charli will headline Reading & Leeds Festival next month before embarking on a North American arena tour with Undersures in September.
