The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGSSB), Raipur, has started the online application process for the Assistant Teacher (LSAT26) Recruitment Examination under the Directorate of Public Instruction, Chhattisgarh.Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official recruitment portal from July 24, 2026.The application window will remain open until August 21, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

Applicants who need to make corrections in their submitted forms will be able to do so during the correction window from August 22 to August 24, 2026.

According to the official schedule, the written examination is expected to be held on November 11, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 12:15 PM, while admit cards are likely to be released on October 5, 2026.The examination will be conducted at centres located across 16 district headquarters in Chhattisgarh.Candidates from the General category are required to pay an application fee of Rs.350, while the fee is Rs.250 for OBC candidates and Rs.200 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.The fee must be paid online while submitting the application form.

As per the Chhattisgarh government's policy, eligible local residents of the state who appear for the examination will receive a refund of the examination fee, which will be credited to the same bank account used for the online payment.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification and complete the application process well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
