The Delhi government is launching the Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 campaign ahead of Independence Day to foster public participation, patriotism, and national unity.Under this initiative, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across Delhi will play a key role in producing around two lakh national flags.Organized by the State Urban Livelihood Mission (SULM), the campaign aims to empower SHG members economically while promoting civic pride.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized that the effort goes beyond hoisting flags, aiming to strengthen national unity and involve every section of society.Over 15 lakh flags will be distributed across Delhi, with additional procurement from online marketplaces to ensure widespread participation.

The initiative reflects the government's strategy to link public welfare with livelihood opportunities, allowing SHG members to contribute directly to creating the Tricolour symbol.This campaign underscores Delhi's commitment to fostering patriotism and collective responsibility during a pivotal national occasion.
