Man hospitalised after stabbing near Emirates Stadium as 16 arrested during Arsenal title parade
An 11-year-old boy was rescued from a burning storage container at Trimsaran Rugby Club in Carmarthenshire, South Wales, thanks to the quick actions of several local fathers.The group, who were enjoying a drink in the club's beer garden, responded after a mother alerted them to the boy's cries.The child had managed to get his head out of a small window but could not escape the flames on his own.Fire crews attended the scene at around 6.15pm and managed to control the blaze, which had spread to a neighbouring property.The boy was taken to Morriston Hospital in Swansea, where he remains in a stable condition.Police believe the fire was deliberately set and have arrested a 13-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder and arson.The teenager has been released on bail while investigations continue.Trimsaran RFC praised the bravery of the fathers involved and thanked the emergency services for their swift response.The incident has drawn attention to the dangers of deliberately set fires and the importance of community intervention in emergencies.
