The Enugu State Government has launched a revalidation and digitization exercise for survey records as part of its digital transformation agenda.The initiative aims to create a fully digital, transparent, and verifiable land administration system to protect property rights, reduce disputes from lost or defective records, and enhance public trust in land governance.

Landowners, developers, and surveyors are required to submit documents like survey plans and layout approvals for verification, digital identity creation, and geospatial mapping.Six centers across the state will handle the process, with participation critical to ensure accuracy and safeguard property interests.

The exercise will strengthen land administration integrity by ensuring records are properly verified, digitally captured, and mapped, minimizing risks from lost or disputed records.This move aligns with Governor Peter Mbah's vision for modernizing state infrastructure and improving administrative efficiency.
