Hundreds of mourners gathered in Talacogon, Agusan del Sur on June 23, 2026, to pay their final respects to the late Ateneo basketball player Rene Clert Baterbonia during the last day of his wake.

Supporters travelled from different parts of the Philippines to honor the young athlete, reflecting the impact he had on his community and on Philippine collegiate basketball.
