Five suspects have been arrested in Lahore following serious allegations of kidnapping, extortion, and sexual assault involving two foreign women.According to a First Information Report (FIR) registered at Defence C Police Station, the victims include one woman from the Netherlands and another from Venezuela. The case surfaced after an emergency police rescue operation that successfully recovered both women within hours of receiving a distress call.

As per the FIR, the main suspect, Muhammad Raza Dar, who is reportedly the grandson of a high-profile political figure, had previously been in a business partnership with the victims in Singapore in October 2025.It is alleged that he invited them to Pakistan and arranged their visas, after which they arrived in Lahore on June 29, 2026.The complainants stated that upon arrival, the women were taken to a residence in Y-Block, Defence, where they were allegedly held at gunpoint. The suspects are accused of subjecting the victims to physical violence and sexual assault, while also demanding a ransom of 1.5 million US dollars. They were reportedly threatened with further harm, including death and organ trafficking, if their demands were not met.

The situation escalated when one of the victims managed to contact her father in the Netherlands, who immediately informed Lahore Police via the emergency helpline 15.This led to a rapid rescue operation, resulting in the safe recovery of both women and the arrest of the suspects.

Police officials have stated that the investigation is being conducted transparently and without political interference, with clear directives to ensure merit-based action.

Authorities also confirmed that the victims were assisted in recording their statements before a magistrate, and their stay was extended briefly at police expense to support the investigation process.
