Advocate Andrea Johnson, head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC), faces formal complaints following her testimony at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.Public Interest SA (PISA) and Brigadier Dineo Mokwele lodged complaints against Johnson after her testimony revealed inconsistencies in her evidence.Johnson admitted approving the prosecution of Mokwele based on incorrect information and acknowledged never reviewing her CV or credentials.She also admitted improperly soliciting a Section 27 affidavit from a Member of Parliament.Mokwele's lawyers argue her actions caused reputational damage and breached constitutional obligations.The IDAC Ombud and Legal Practice Council are reviewing the complaints, while the MK Party plans to pursue perjury charges.
