Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State conducted an unannounced inspection of the state secretariat, discovering several top officials' offices locked by 11am as senior civil servants hadn't arrived.The governor moved between ministries, finding many desks empty with only a few messengers and security present.

His aide confirmed this was part of a broader statewide oversight tour combining administrative checks, humanitarian support for boat accident victims in Ringim LGA, and infrastructure assessments.Namadi also visited Sankara to review road projects and Kazaure to evaluate hospital and polytechnic developments.

The governor emphasized his commitment to improving public service efficiency and advancing Jigawa's developmental goals through close supervision of government programs.
