These persons, including 17 Pakistani citizens and 6 Indians, are accused of activities such as recruiting militants, facilitating infiltrations, providing logistical support, financing, weapons supply, and planning terror attacks in India. The list includes key figures from these groups, some of whom are also affiliated with other terror networks.
The designations cover individuals linked to major attacks, including the 2016 Indian Army camp attack in Jammu and Kashmir and the 2022 Sunjwan attack.
The Union Home Ministry emphasized their alleged roles in supporting terrorism, with all accused believed to reside in Pakistan or Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. This move underscores India's continued efforts to combat cross-border terrorism through legal designations under UAPA.
