FIFA has announced that Justin Bieber will headline the World Cup final halftime show, joining fellow performers Madonna, Shakira, and BTS.The 11-minute performance, curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, will take place on July 19 during the final in New York.

The event will also feature Afrobeats artist Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus, a choir of elementary school students from Staten Island.

The show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, aiming to raise $100 million for educational and soccer initiatives for children globally.Bieber expressed gratitude for the opportunity, emphasizing the show’s role in expanding access to education.

Burna Boy highlighted the significance of representing Africa on the inaugural FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show, while the inclusion of The Muppets and Kermit the Frog adds a family-friendly element.

This marks a unique collaboration between global music icons and youth performers, underscoring the World Cup’s role in uniting cultures through sport and art.
