A judicial magistrate in Karachi approved a seven-day physical remand for three suspects arrested in the murder of Dr Akash Kumar, a young doctor killed during a robbery near Teen Talwar.The incident occurred on July 13 when robbers intercepted Dr Kumar's vehicle, killing him and stealing Rs2 million.Police recovered a white Suzuki Alto, mobile phones, and three pistols from the suspects.The court approved the remand to trace accomplices, recover stolen assets, and identify the culprits.The case has sparked outrage in the medical community, with doctors protesting at JPMC where Dr Kumar worked.Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar assured the victim's family that justice would be served.The FIR was registered under sections of the Pakistan Penal Code related to murder and robbery.The suspects are part of a gang involved in Karachi's criminal activities, and raids are ongoing to arrest remaining accomplices.
