The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the results for the SSC Part-II Science Group exams, with 141,688 students declared successful, achieving an 80.87% pass rate.Out of 176,152 registered students, 175,200 appeared for the exams, with 35,529 securing A1 grades and 51,022 obtaining A grades.

However, the results come amid ongoing controversies surrounding the examinations, including allegations of bribery, paper leaks, and administrative mismanagement.

A probe report revealed major irregularities, such as the relocation of over 170 examination centers and security lapses, including incidents of students bringing daggers into exam halls.Officials noted inadequate facilities, such as broken fans and load shedding, while some students were assigned distant centers.Additionally, 'home centers' within schools were reportedly created in violation of rules.These issues have raised concerns about the integrity of the examination process.
