The programme is part of the government’s Technical Capacity Development through Training initiative, funded through the World Bank under the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project (HoAGDP).

Priority will be given to vulnerable groups including persons with disabilities, orphans, individuals from single-parent families, and young single parents.
The programme will mainly serve residents from Isiolo, Meru, Wajir, and Garissa counties, particularly those affected by infrastructure development projects under HoAGDP.
Courses offered include masonry, electrical installation and electronics, plumbing, automotive engineering, beauty therapy and hairdressing, fashion and design, food production and catering, welding and fabrication, mobile phone repair, carpentry and joinery, ICT technician training, and plant construction mechanics.Successful candidates will receive hands-on technical training designed to enhance job readiness across multiple sectors.
KeNHA has directed interested applicants to collect application forms from chiefs’ offices, county commissioners’ offices, KeNHA regional offices in Isiolo and Garissa, or designated project site offices.
Completed applications must be submitted in hard copy to specified offices, including regional offices, county commissioner offices, and HoAGDP site engineers’ offices.
