The Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a weekly weather forecast predicting generally dry conditions across most regions for the next seven days.

Some counties including Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, Kakamega, Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo/Marakwet, Nyandarua, Nyeri, and Murang’a may experience light rains and cool conditions from July 28 to August 3.Intermittent cool and cloudy weather is expected in parts of Kiambu, Kirinyaga, Laikipia, Meru, and Nairobi.Daytime temperatures above 30°C are forecasted in coastal and northern regions like Kilifi, Tana River, Lamu, and Turkana.Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop below 10°C in several counties.

The forecast highlights specific rainfall patterns, with morning rains in Siaya, Busia, and Turkana, and afternoon showers in Baringo, Bomet, and Kisumu.The report also notes sunny intervals in many areas, emphasizing the need for preparedness due to varying weather conditions.
