Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi categorically denied before the Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) the existence of any armed structure or paramilitary setup linked to the 'Imran Khan Rehayi Aman Movement'.The CM argued that the movement is a peaceful, unarmed civic initiative aimed at raising awareness about due process of law.

The petitioner, Malik Zaheer Ahmed, had challenged the legal status of the movement, claiming it violated constitutional principles and posed a threat to public order.

Afridi's rejoinder emphasized that no armed force was constituted or operationalized, dismissing allegations as speculative and politically motivated.

The FCC will hear the petition on July 29, with the CM asserting that his responsibilities are confined to governance and development, not forming political movements.

The court's jurisdiction cannot be invoked on hypothetical grounds, the rejoinder argued, leading to claims the petition is premature and lacks factual basis.
