Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state has grown stronger and is well-positioned to secure a resounding victory in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the APC Youth Engagement 2026 event in Ilorin, he reflected on the challenges faced since 2019, highlighting successful rebuilding of key sectors like education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

The event featured presentations of APC candidates for various offices, with Salihu Yakubu Danladi, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, named as the governorship candidate.Governor Abdulrazaq praised Danladi's experience and role in the administration's achievements, countering claims of his lack of expertise.He urged party members to intensify grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 elections, emphasizing that the opposition is weaker than before.The governor also acknowledged the youth turnout at the event, noting their support for the administration's transformation agenda.Danladi pledged to continue the progress if elected, thanking the governor for entrusting him with leadership responsibilities.
