Disney+ is set to release three new exclusive episodes of The Simpsons this summer, featuring a range of high-profile guest stars from music and acting.
The announcement confirms that Icelandic singer-songwriter Laufey and pop duo Tegan and Sara will appear in the episode titled Extreme Makeover: Homer Edition, alongside actor Betty Gilpin.
This episode is scheduled to premiere on 17 June and centres on Homer and Marge’s date night going awry after Marge discovers Homer has left the children unsupervised with only a doorbell camera as supervision.Frustrated, Marge imagines alternative versions of her husband across a series of fantasy scenarios.Two further episodes will follow later in the summer.Simpsley, arriving on 3 July, is described as a film noir-inspired story in which Marge takes on the role of a con artist.The third episode, Yellow Mirror, will debut on 26 August and parodies the anthology series Black Mirror.
