Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has pledged to prioritize Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) development if his party wins upcoming elections.

Speaking to party workers in Muzaffarabad, Nawaz emphasized his commitment to the region, calling AJK his 'second home' and vowing to visit every three months to review progress.He promised a tenfold increase in AJK's budget, along with infrastructure projects like 10 electric buses and 15 mobile hospitals.Nawaz also criticized the lack of a motorway between Kohala and Muzaffarabad, highlighting regional development gaps.

He reiterated that PML-N has never discriminated between AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Punjab in development projects, pledging similar initiatives for AJK.

The former prime minister recalled doubling AJK's budget during his previous tenure and urged voters to support PML-N to address the region's challenges.His remarks come amid ongoing political tensions and election preparations in Pakistan.
