Tooth to host intimate release party for debut EP ‘Restless In Bloom’ at Soho’s The Blue Posts
New Order have announced the release of a remastered compilation titled 'The Best & The Rest Of', which will combine their acclaimed albums 'The Best Of New Order' and 'The Rest Of New Order' for the first time.
Scheduled for release via Warner Music on 17th July 2026, the collection features fully remastered audio and an extensive selection of remixes, including previously unreleased tracks by SubSub, Richie Hawtin, and Joe T.Vannelli.
The original albums, released in 1994 and 1995 respectively, included some of the band's most iconic tracks such as 'True Faith', 'Bizarre Love Triangle', 'Blue Monday-88', 'Regret', and 'World In Motion'.The new compilation will be available as a 4CD deluxe edition as well as separate vinyl editions, with all audio cut at Abbey Road.Notably, 'The Rest Of New Order' is now offered as a 3LP set compiling all twelve songs from the original CD and vinyl release.
The announcement coincides with news that Joy Division and New Order were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, with Peter Hook indicating potential reunion talks and suggesting Oasis could facilitate the event.
The Hall of Fame ceremony is set to take place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on 14th November 2026, with the recording to air in December on ABC and Disney+.
This release celebrates nearly five decades of New Order’s music and legacy, providing fans with a definitive collection of remastered and rare material.
