The Ogun State Police Command carried out a successful raid on criminal hideouts in Isheri-Olofin, leading to the arrest of 43 suspects as part of Operation Kosaye.The operation, launched jointly with Lagos State police, targets banditry, kidnapping, and other crimes in border areas.During the raid, officers recovered drugs, mobile phones, and other illicit items.All suspects were charged with offenses like criminal conspiracy, drug possession, and prostitution.This brings the total number of arrests under Operation Kosaye to 76.The police emphasized their commitment to dismantling criminal networks and ensuring public safety.Commissioner Bode Ojajuni praised the SWAT team's effectiveness, stating Ogun will remain a hostile environment for criminals.The operation highlights intelligence-led policing strategies to combat crime in the region.
