The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially launched a 10-member Reconciliation Committee aimed at uniting party members and strengthening the party's position ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Chairman Kolawole Babatunde tasked the committee with reconciling aggrieved members, aligning factions, and ensuring cooperation among stakeholders to achieve the APC's electoral goals.

The committee's work is critical to supporting Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa's directive to secure at least one million votes for President Bola Tinubu in Ondo State.Additionally, the committee is expected to play a key role in the APC's bid to win all National Assembly and State Assembly seats.

Babatunde emphasized that every member has a vital role in achieving these objectives, stressing that personal grievances should not undermine the party's collective interests.

Committee chairman Biyi Poroye assured leadership that the group is prepared to resolve internal disputes and prepare the APC for a strong electoral performance.

The initiative reflects the party's commitment to unity and success in the upcoming elections, despite ongoing challenges and differing opinions within the party.
