While the government initially considered an adjournment motion on the paper leak controversy, it now risks combining this with the Ayodhya issue to counter opposition strategies.

The Congress and Samajwadi Party are pushing to address the Ayodhya donation theft, viewing it as a tool to challenge the BJP on Hindu nationalist issues, especially with upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The opposition also remains concerned about other issues like the ethanol fuel controversy and the Indo-US trade deal, which could spark further protests.
