NDC schedules primaries for May 28, shifts to manual voting due to limited time

However, he warn say the governor still faces serious political danger because of the lawmakers loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Otubanjo explain say if the 28 lawmakers continue to oppose Fubara, dem fit even impeach am before the next election, and that one go weaken him political strength and reduce him chances.Otubanjo also blamed Fubara partly for the crisis wey dey happen around am politically.
He argue say Fubara became governor through the political structure and influence of Wike, and say the same political arrangement wey helped am rise to power now dey work against am.
According to him, Fubara willingly accepted the system where one powerful politician selected am, so he should not be surprised that the same person can remove support from am.
The political tension between Fubara and Wike has continued to generate reactions across Nigeria, especially as discussions around party defections and alliances ahead of the 2027 elections continue to grow.
