Passenger trains such as the Karakoram Express, Allama Iqbal Express, and Pakistan Express were halted at various stations, including Hyderabad, Kotri, and Landhi.The coal hopper train, traveling from Karachi to Yousafwala, derailed, causing widespread disruption.Railways Sukkur Divisional Superintendent Farman Ghani confirmed that relief trains from Rohri and Kotri are en route to the accident site.Authorities emphasized that track restoration will take time, and efforts are ongoing to clear both tracks and resume operations.The incident highlights the vulnerability of critical infrastructure and the need for swift emergency responses.
