Despite these lucrative offers, Dube opted for a homecoming move to Hardrock FC, a club that has impressed in its debut top-flight season and currently sits second in the Zimbabwe league standings with 38 points from 19 matches.
During his farewell message, Dube expressed deep appreciation for Yanga supporters, coaching staff, and management, describing the club as more than just a football team but a family that played a major role in his career development.
He joined Yanga in the 2024/2025 season after leaving Azam FC and went on to become an important attacking figure, scoring 10 goals in the recently concluded season and contributing significantly in domestic and continental competitions.
