The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party has decided to launch a nationwide movement on August 5 to demand the release of party chief Imran Khan and address other demands.This date marks the completion of Khan's third year in prison.The decision was made during a meeting chaired by interim chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad.The movement will include public meetings, demonstrations, and a long march.Key leaders like Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas will be consulted for protest planning.PTI leaders emphasized that Imran Khan has not received justice from the courts and called for an end to oppression in the country.The party also reiterated its continued boycott of parliamentary standing committees, rejecting media reports suggesting otherwise.

Legal representatives submitted a list of six leaders for a meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala jail, highlighting ongoing efforts to support his cause.
