President confirm UK and European headline tour for November 2026
In a recent interview with NME, Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien addressed speculation surrounding a potential new album. The band have not released an album since 2016’s 'A Moon Shaped Pool', and despite their 2025 comeback tour and formation of a private limited company by all five members, O’Brien clarified that they have not even discussed producing another record.
He described the creation of 'A Moon Shaped Pool' as extremely challenging, suggesting that the difficulty of that process has contributed to their current lack of plans.O’Brien also reflected positively on the recent tour, praising the band's chemistry and the support of their fans.
Fellow members have expressed similar uncertainty: Jonny Greenwood admitted he is unsure about future releases, while Thom Yorke spoke fondly of the tour but remained tight-lipped on new material.
During the tour, Radiohead performed four-night residencies in multiple European cities, playing from a 65-song repertoire and setting a record attendance at London’s O2.
In the meantime, members have continued releasing music individually: Yorke and Greenwood with The Smile, O’Brien with his solo album 'Blue Morpho', and Yorke featuring on Flea’s solo project. The band’s return to live performances was widely praised, but any new album appears unlikely in the near future.
