Security forces in Balochistan have successfully eliminated 129 terrorists since the start of Operation Shaban on July 5, 2026.The operation, involving joint efforts by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and police, has targeted India-backed militant groups in remote and rugged terrain.

Recent strikes have resulted in the deaths of at least three more terrorists, with a large cache of weapons and ammunition, including submachine guns and rocket launchers, recovered from the militants.Security sources confirmed that the operation will continue until all terrorists are eliminated.Earlier this month, 42 people, including security personnel and civilians, were killed in three terrorist attacks.The surge in terrorist activities in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has intensified since the Afghan Taliban took power in 2021.The operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat cross-border terrorism and safeguard national security.
