Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to the arrest of Adeniyi Adeyemi, the controversial Director-General of the Presidential Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).

According to VDM, Adeyemi shared confidential information with him about how the PFIPC allegedly found its way into the national budget with the support of influential people within government.

VDM said he now intends to make those conversations public because he believes Adeyemi is being made the only person to answer for a matter that allegedly involved several officials.He argued that the case should not stop with Adeyemi and insisted that the budgeting process should be thoroughly investigated.

VDM specifically called for the immediate arrest and investigation of the Director-General of the Budget Office, while also demanding the resignation and prosecution of other officials he believes may have played roles in the matter, including the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and relevant staff connected to the offices involved.

He also referred to the reported ₦15 billion lawsuit filed by the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, against Adeyemi over claims linking his name to the controversy.

While acknowledging Gbajabiamila’s position, VDM maintained that Adeyemi did not act alone and described him as a product of a wider system of corruption.

He concluded by saying that genuine accountability requires a full investigation of everyone allegedly connected to the PFIPC budget controversy rather than focusing only on one suspect.
