The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced the composition of its National Campaign Council for the upcoming Osun State Governorship Election scheduled for August 15, 2026.

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has been appointed as the chair of the council, with Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas serving as co-chairmen.The council also includes key figures like Ibrahim Kabir Masari as Deputy Chairman and Barau Jibrin as Secretary.

The party emphasized that the council comprises prominent leaders, governors, legislators, and stakeholders across the country to ensure a coordinated campaign for victory.Sub-committees have been formed to handle election planning, finance, logistics, security, media, and youth mobilization, among other areas.The inauguration of the council and sub-committees is set for July 28, 2026, at the Transcorp Hilton Event Centre in Abuja.This move underscores APC's commitment to a structured and comprehensive campaign strategy ahead of the election.
