MEC Tertuis Simmers and Mayoral Committee Member Carl Pophaim emphasized that all legitimate housing opportunities are free, and no payment is required at any stage.Residents are urged to avoid sharing personal details with unknown individuals and to verify communications through official channels.The City advises contacting the Human Settlements Call Centre on 021 444 0333 for any housing-related inquiries.Eligible residents must keep their housing registration up to date via official processes.
